New Life provides desperately needed food to those caught up in the midst of the political, financial and spiritual unrest of Zimbabwe.
Working with Pastor Asa Gurupira, founder of Faith In God Ministries (FIG), the food distribution is having an incredible impact. “You should imagine the excitement and overwhelming joy to get a chance to feed a hopeless child and their family,” stated Pastor Asa. Those affected by HIV were blessed with a double portion in an effort to help communicate God’s love and compassion. To date, the food has been distributed through 15 villages.
Reports from the various villages continue to be so encouraging that even the government has become appreciative of the effort to feed the hungry at such a critical hour. Although the economic meltdown continues many hearts have been opened to the message of the Gospel as a result of the food distribution!
